Buffalo Springs Lake Volunteer Fire Department was started in 1982 by a group of dedicated individuals who saw the need for fire protection in their community.  The station was built by the members with donated materials.  It originally consisted of the meeting area and one bay (the large door).  Later three bays were added to the expanding department.  If you have any history or stories feel free to email them to us.  (still adding content)
